Subject: What has always amazed/confused/intrigued me...

...(and I'm really not trying to get into a messy abortion debate
here, just an observation)

Is, if you 'forgot' what you knew of US politics and looked at much of
what many on the "Left" say they stand for: animal rights, civil
rights, the environment (i.e. conservation of living things),
immigration (i.e. 'giving people an opportunity to live free in
America', regardless of how they got here/the circumstances),
peace/non-war (i.e. 'death/violence/killing in any form is bad')

And then took the most common stereotypes of the "Right": "Greedy,
Cold, & Uncaring for those that can't speak for themselves"

And then asked: "Now, which group do you think advocates the killing
of unborn children & which do you think makes a big stink about the
sanctity of life?"

Would you ever dream the current platforms are what they are?
Seriously? It's cognitive dissonance at its finest.
