I was just trying to show how easy it can be to reconcile the
support of the death penalty and opposing abortion. To me, there's
not a logical inconsistency. So, your idea of throwing it back in
someone's face (as you phrased it) can be easily dealt with.
BTW, that doesn't mean that I'm necessarily against all abortion
either. I'm probably personally pro-life...but politically, I'd say
I'm anti-Roe-v-Wade. To me, RVW circumvented something that was
happening in the normal democratic process. RVW should be
overturned, and then let the argument return to the states. In some
states, abortion will be legal. In others, it will not. To me,
that's the way it should be settled. RVW became the left-wing
version of "our way or the highway", which is too bad.
