Subject: Re: So a fetus becomes a life

Message:

Does a heart beat mean anything? Does the ability to feel pain and
moving away from objects causing pain mean anything? A baby at 7
weeks is not cute, but it has brain waves and you can tell what is
with magnification (an ultrasound). It has brain activity at 40 - 43
days after conception. Your argument is not valid. If life doesn't
begin at conception, when does it begin? At implantation, at
viability? All of these arguments have some serious flaws and the
fact is that life (scientifically speaking) begins at conception,
development occurs after that but the cells are alive and developing
after conception. It is sad how we rationalize a choice of
convenience. I have trouble telling others what they can and can't
do but the moral answer is clear as day in my mind, the legal answer
not as clear but you are killing something regardless of what you
want to call it.
