Message:

we'll be paying a lot less than we did last winter living in the 1920s
bungalow we stay in now.

that house can't stay cold during the summer or hot during the winter,
no matter what. best i could get it inside yesterday was 79, and that
was at about 10:00 p.m. Winter time saw us with consistent 300 dollar
gas bills. This house will be an improvement over no matter what. At
least this house we are buying has insulation...

thanks for the answers. I'll look into our paperwork and check back at
the house to see what kind of system it is.

I know we'll be replacing the system with a more energy efficient
system within 3-5 years probably.
