From most projections, it looks like Tech needs to win that series in
order to host a regional. Otherwise, they will be a #2 seed (and
probably coming to Foley for regional play).
As of now, it appears UGA & LSU will be the only SEC teams hosting
regionals. Lots of SEC teams will be going on the road. The
projections I have seen have 9 SEC teams getting in, including SC even
if they don't get to Hoover. (I think twice before an SEC team got
into the NCAAs though it did not get to Hoover.)
