I am OK with Florida and USC starting out ahead of our guys, We will
get our shot against the Gators, and Southern Cal is going to butcher
the Bucknuts. However, I really don't like the idea of an OU team
getting put into the top 3, for a number of reasons. Their schedule
is much weaker than ours is, but who can honestly say that of but UGA
and OU were to finish the year with identical records after us being
ranked behind them for the season, we would get moved above them?
They are also a primetime BCS b*tch, losing to WVU by 20 points and
(in a disgraceful display) Southern Cal by 36, also lost to a
freaking mid-major. And, along with the odious Mack Brown, the so-
called "Big Game Bob" Stoops is one of the most anti-SEC voters in
the Coaches poll - last December, ranked LSU at #6 (BEHIND freaking
VA Tech!) and the Dawgs at #8. Quite frankly I can't stand him; and
the idea that UGA, OU, and the Bucknuts all finish with one loss and
we get frozen out of the NC game is just a nightmare to me. However
the off-season is composed of this and lots of other idle thoughts
and in a couple months it will be ovr.
